Efektivitas In-House Training Berbasis AI dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Widyaiswara di BPSDM Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

 

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan in-house dalam meningkatkan kompetensi Widyaiswara di BPSDM Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya dalam pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI). Di era transformasi digital, peningkatan kapasitas aparatur sipil negara dalam memanfaatkan teknologi menjadi kebutuhan mendesak. Namun, masih banyak Widyaiswara yang menghadapi keterbatasan literasi digital serta belum terbiasa menggunakan AI dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-test dan post-test yang melibatkan 25 peserta. Instrumen tes telah divalidasi oleh pakar dan diuji reliabilitasnya. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor signifikan dari rata-rata 65,48 menjadi 85,20 (p < 0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa in-house training yang dirancang secara kontekstual dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta efektif dalam membangun keterampilan baru, khususnya dalam menyusun bahan ajar berbasis AI. Pelatihan juga memperkuat kolaborasi dan refleksi sejawat. Namun demikian, keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesenjangan literasi digital, dan belum adanya kebijakan internal mengenai integrasi AI menjadi tantangan yang perlu ditangani. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya strategi pelatihan berkelanjutan, penguatan kebijakan internal, serta penyediaan dukungan teknologi yang memadai agar transformasi digital dalam pendidikan ASN dapat berjalan efektif. Pelatihan in-house dapat menjadi model pembelajaran yang kontekstual, berkelanjutan, dan memberdayakan Widyaiswara sebagai agen perubahan dalam era pembelajaran berbasis teknologi.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of in-house training in enhancing the competencies of Widyaiswara (government trainers) at the South Sulawesi Human Resource Development Agency (BPSDM), particularly in developing AI-based instructional materials. In the digital transformation era, equipping civil servants with technology-integrated teaching skills is increasingly essential. However, many trainers still face challenges in digital literacy and lack practical experience in applying AI tools to learning processes. Employing a quantitative method with a pre-test and post-test design, this study involved 25 purposively selected participants. The assessment instrument was validated by experts and tested for reliability. Statistical analysis using paired sample t-tests showed a significant increase in average scores, from 65.48 to 85.20 (p < 0.05). The findings suggest that contextually designed in-house training is effective in building applied competencies, especially in designing AI-enhanced instructional content. It also fosters peer collaboration and reflective learning. Nevertheless, challenges persist, including limited access to technological infrastructure, disparities in digital proficiency, and the absence of formal policies on AI integration. This study recommends the implementation of continuous professional development strategies, the formulation of supportive institutional policies, and the provision of adequate technological resources. These measures are essential to advance digital transformation in public sector training. In-house training emerges as a relevant, sustainable, and empowering model to support Widyaiswara in becoming agile facilitators in the era of technology-driven learning.
